I hold the Foot Reflexology Course on Gabriola Island, B.C., a twenty minute ferry ride from Nanaimo, B.C. Students report enjoying the ferry as it gives an opportunity to focus on the day ahead and to then unwind or begin their homework on the return journey. I bring those students not staying on the island to and from the ferry each day.
The foot reflexology course is a total of 186.5 hours with 35 being in-class training. Rather than teach the course over three weekends, I teach the course in an Intensive format over 7-1/2 days. I teach days 1,2,3,4, have two study days, teach day 5, then have the two-hour RAC (Reflexology Association of Canada) written exam the morning of eighth day. The first day of class begins at 9:30 a.m. Students then discuss class times which work for everyone. Therefore, the class may begin and end, earlier or later.
The Intensive format isn’t for everyone. This format is for individuals who wish to learn reflexology as a profession, and requires you focus solely on learning Foot Reflexology with no outside distractions to hinder your study time.
