This is a page where you can ask reflexology-related questions. I hope you find it useful.

Question: Why won’t my reflexologist show me specific reflexes I can do at home?

Answer: A reflexology treatment encompasses the whole body. By stimulating the nerve endings in the feet in a specific sequence, we send messages along the nerve pathways to the various parts, glands and organs of the body. During a reflexology treatment, the body drops into a state known as “parasympathetic” mode of the nervous system. This is the “rest and repair” state, and helps balance the energies within the entire body. If you focus only on one or two reflexes, the body won’t reach this restorative state, nor will it release the bodies self-healing potential. The body is a sum of its parts.
